Roots is a program for graphically laying out a family tree. It can also store a small amount of information about each person, but that is not its main function. If you want a comprehensive database with detailed information about each person then you are looking in the wrong place. The amount of people the registered version of Roots can handle is limited only by the amount of memory in your computer.
