A driver for PCI TV cards such as the Pinnacle Rave.
Details
Sometime late in 2004 Pinnacle decided to change the main chip type used
on their Rave PCI TV cards. Unfortunately Simon Wilson's program, PCITV is unable to drive this new chip.
It's currently beta and any feedback would be welcome.
Not all the features provided by Simon's software are yet available in Remote. The main omission being support for TV standards other than the UK, other standards will be added in due course.
The new type card does have a few advantages over the previous design,
the main one, NICAM stereo sound is provided as standard on the base
Rave model.
The main features are:
* DMA transfer - virtually no load on the main processor
* Full PAL spec. 768x576 display scaleable down to 96x72 pixels
* NICAM stereo sound with auto FM fallback
* Auto channel search
* Composite and Y/C inputs with sound source switching
* Full screen mode
