SharedSound

Details

SharedSound was originally developed to provide shared access to the 16 bit sound system of a RiscPC so that multiple uses such as the sound support for the PC card and the ESP MIDI Synth could play at the same time.

Is is also used by ARMMovie and many other applications and enables users of the sound system to share output rather than throw off previous users in order to have exclusive use.

This new release includes a number of improvements including the availability of fill, mixing and volume control routines from the module to make it easier to write sound routines that use SharedSound.

The previous release of SharedSound was version 0.58 which was released with RISC OS 4.
